A Few Snow Flurries Last Evening/Cool and Breezy Today

A few snow showers survived east of the Continental Divide yesterday evening with some minor snow accumulations in the foothills of less than 1″.  Lower elevations did see some snow flurries but no meaningful accumulations were experienced except for northern El Paso County where the Black Forest area picked up to 1/2″ in some spots.  If you just look out the window today conditions may seem pretty nice due to the abundant sunshine but the winds will be blowing from the NW up to 30mph in some areas and the temperatures will only warm into the 40s along the I25 corridor.  The wind chill values will be in the 30s for much of the day making it feel much colder.
