Winter Weather Advisories in place for the Western Mountains

Winter Weather Advisories are in place for NW Colorado and the Central Mountains with 5-12″ of snow expected in these areas.  There is also an Advisory for Pikes Peak above 11,000′ from 5pm until 11am Sunday with 4-8″ expected.  There are not any Winter Weather Advisories in place at this time for the Front Range Mountains and Foothills but they will receive some snow as well.  Travel along the Front Range will become difficult this evening and overnight as snow develops along the I-25 corridor.  Snow will have moved well south by the time the Bronco Game gets underway with mostly sunny skies developing in the afternoon but remaining cold in the 30s for highs and dropping into the 20s as the game progresses.
