A storm system will be taking aim at the state of Colorado late Wednesday night through Friday which will provide a healthy dose of snow for the mountains with additional snows for the eastern plains as colder air moves in Thursday into Friday. Have the snow shovels ready as there will likely be accumulations pavement with winter driving conditions developing. There are not any NWS Winter Storm Watches or Warnings currently but in the coming days they will be issued. Stay tuned for more information on this developing storm system that promises to deliver meaningful snows for many residents of the state.
